Bill 115, Coroners Amendment Act, 2008, was introduced  <a style='text-decoration:none;' title='' HREF='' >in the<\/a>  Ontario Legislature by Hon.   <A style='text-decoration:none;' HREF='' TITLE=''><\/A> . Rick Bartolucci on October 23, 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Bill 115 is one of the Ontario government&#8217;s key responses to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.goudgeinquiry.ca\" target=\"_blank\">Goudge Inquiry<\/a>. DCI-Canada had standing  <a style='text-decoration:none;' title='' HREF='' >in the<\/a>  Goudge Inquiry and our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.attorneygeneral.jus.gov.on.ca\/inquiries\/goudge\/submissions\/pdf\/Submission_DCI.pdf\">final submissions<\/a> recommended numerous reforms to Ontario&#8217;s pediatric forensic pathology system, a new child death review process, and measures to ensure justice for children who were wrongfully separated from their families because of the faulty pathology opinions of Dr. Charles Smith.<\/p>\n<p>Our submission to the Standing Committee on Justice  <A style='color: inherit !important;' href='http:\/\/chrystalbenjaminlx8.blogspot.com\/2017\/03\/ducove.html' TITLE='Ducove' >Policy recommends<\/A>  three amendments to the bill.
