1. The Defence for Children International-Canada (DCI-Canada) web site does not collect or store personal information as defined by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada). This site does not use cookies.
2. The DCI-Canada web site collects and stores non-identifying information about visitors including: IP address, internet service provider, pages viewed, and the time and date of visit. This information is used to generate statistical reports regarding the use of the DCI-Canada web site.
3. DCI-Canada collects and stores personal information:
a) Of members of the corporation and persons who contact DCI-Canada to request membership in the corporation. This information is used to: process membership requests; notify members of annual and special general meetings as required by the Canada Corporations Act and the by-laws of the corporation; and to inform members about the activities of the corporation.
b) Of any person who contacts DCI-Canada by telephone, regular mail, e-mail, fax, or other means. This information is used to reply to persons who contact DCI-Canada, if a reply is requested or appears to be appropriate.
4. DCI-Canada does not disclose its membership list in part or in whole to any person or organization.
